Key Responsibilities:

You will be tasked with constructing highly scalable test frameworks, systems, and infrastructure capable of handling thousands of tests daily.
Ensuring the automation results are exceptionally reliable and trustworthy, enabling seamless, hands-free releases will be a key contribution.
In an individual capacity, you will deliver innovative solutions to intricate test automation challenges.
Your collaboration with Product, UX, and Development teams is crucial for executing and delivering high-quality experiences across Mobile, Web, and Living Room devices, impacting potentially 300+ million users.
Working across functions, you will synchronize the Quality team with overall business objectives.
As a guide in the CEX Org QE team, you’ll assist in developing Quality Engineering roadmaps and test systems to enhance product quality.
Your role involves identifying, planning, and executing projects supporting Quality goals within the CEX Discovery team, which comprises 50+ engineers across Home and Details UX, Personalization, and Search, facilitating content discovery for users in multiple countries across various genres and languages.

Qualifications and Skills

Qualification: BE/BTECH (CS/CE/IT), ME/Mtech

Skills:

Possess excellent automation skills for front-end client applications, including Mobile, TVs, Set Top Boxes, or Living Room devices.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of REST APIs, including request-response structures, error and status codes.
Display proficient knowledge of SQL and DB scripting.
Showcase expertise in developing backend tools or frameworks for testing REST APIs, microservices, data migration, failover scenarios, and deployment procedures like blue-green or canary.
Strong familiarity with CI/CD principles and a deep understanding of Shift Left principles.
Ability to construct distributed systems for performance and scale testing.
Experience in testing within a distributed heterogeneous microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with caches, such as Aerospike, DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Hadoop, Cassandra, and Kafka.
Proficient in Amazon AWS or similar cloud providers.
Knowledgeable in industry best practices in software development processes, including unit testing, OOPS, design, and code reviews. Competent with Linux commands and shell scripts. Solid understanding of building and publishing POCs.
