Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively within a team on the delivery of high-quality projects across multiple concurrent projects.
- Develop, debug, and conduct unit tests for applications following established standards.
- Participate in peer-reviews for solution designs and associated code.
- Package and support the deployment of releases.
- Create and maintain deployment environments.
- Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance Team to resolve daily deployment environment issues.
- Maintain and improve the automated build, deployment, and release processes.
- Receive and address information on issues from the support team, working together to resolve customer problems.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualification: College or University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Skills:
- Proficiency in supporting or rewriting legacy Microsoft technologies such as ASP.NET, REST, and MVC v1 through 4.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax, JSON, XML, and XHTML.
- Strong familiarity with C++, COM, Mocking Frameworks, and various debugging tools.
- Knowledge in source control using TFS/Git for setting up solutions, publishing, CI, branching/merging.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with core Microsoft .NET technologies including WCF, WPF, WF, LINQ, and EF.
- Proficiency in debugging, performance profiling, and optimization.
- Strong communication skills, internally within the team and with external business stakeholders.
