Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the customer’s system requirements and determine the software requirements.
- Define functional and non-functional requirements for software architecture.
- Derive SW HLD and LLD from the SW requirements specification.
- Review software development artifacts (SRS, HLD, LLD, source code, specifications and test reports).
- Provides technical advice to designers, developers and system integrators.
- Conduct a detailed analysis of the impact of design changes caused by defects or change requests.
- Analyzes hardware diagrams, troubleshoots software errors, and suggests solutions to problems.
- Define a unity, integration and functional testing strategy to ensure software quality.
- FMEA support system and leading FMEA software.
- Bring SW projects technically into the delivery schedule.
- Provide regular updates on the status of the SW project to the customer and key stakeholders.
- Analyze customer requests for offers and estimate the workload for planned topics and risks.
- Collaborate with hardware and application engineers on software development activities.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech
Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of embedded systems design and development.
- Good practical experience in developing complex device drivers (CDD) for various chipsets such as data acquisition, voltage regulation, communication interface, etc.
- Extensive experience in working with various tools used in SDLC.
- Experience in manual and template-based software development.
- Experience with UML based tools such as Rhapsody/Enterprise Architect.
- Practical experience with tools such as CANoe, INCA, UDE etc.
- Experience with quality processes and safety standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262.
- Experience with software optimization (CPU, memory, etc.))
- Knowledge of schematic analysis of devices, data sheets, etc.
- Worked in HIL environment or any Closed test environment.
- Knowledge of any scripting tool (Perl, Python, CAPL, etc.)
- Experience in implementing communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Flex Ray, Ethernet.
- Experience in software development according to ISO26262.
