Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspection of inward goods according to sampling plan.
- Inspect valves based on approved GAD, Spec., and BOM, aligning with inspection checklist.
- Identify non-conforming (NC) parts and communicate via Quality Alert/CAR to suppliers/departments.
- Maintain monthly record of NC parts, follow up with suppliers/departments for closure.
- Segregate WIP stock based on severity of issues/customer complaints.
- Review CMTRs/supplier reports for compliance with standards/drawings/specifications.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science
Skills:
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and interaction within teams and with external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and adept at utilizing technology and department-specific systems efficiently.
- Experienced in the inspection of casting parts and precision machining parts, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of quality standards and requirements.
- Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), with an understanding of position tolerance concepts.
- Skilled in studying and comprehending engineering drawings to ensure accurate inspection and adherence to specifications.
- Capable of operating basic linear instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore dial gauges, 2D microhite, and surface finish instruments proficiently.
- Familiar with international material standards for qualifying material chemical and mechanical properties, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Proficient in basic computer operations for report preparation, particularly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
