Key Responsibilities:
- Design cloud infrastructure according to business needs and ensure scalability, security and reliability.
- Deploy applications, services, and databases across platforms. Manage infrastructure and cloud application migration.
- Implementation of user documentation and tools for provisioning, configuring, and managing cloud resources. Use infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect cloud assets, including identity and asset management (IAM), auditing, network security, and compliance.
- Monitoring and improving the performance of infrastructure, services and applications. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Optimizing the use of cloud computing to reduce costs while maintaining performance and scalability. Monitor usage and implement savings strategies.
- Implement disaster recovery and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability. High-quality solutions are available to save time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security teams, to align business goals and requirements.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, services, and applications. Provide support in resolving incidents and shortening delivery times.
- Stay up to date with the latest information, best practices and technologies in accounting. Working to continuously improve processes and increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Demonstration of configuration, procedures and best practices. Knowledge sharing and training for team members to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell.
- In-depth understanding of database concepts and SQL.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems, including system administration tasks.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and VPN.
- Expertise in one or more cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or others.
- Strong knowledge of Pyspark.
- Strong knowledge of S3, Athena, EMR, EC2, AWS, Cloud View.
- Knowledge of cloud computing services such as VPCs, subnets, and parallelism.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Knowledge of provisioning and managing infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Understand cloud security best practices, including identity and security management (IAM), auditing, and network security controls.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD networking, version control systems (e.g. Git), and agile methodologies.
- Expertise in planning, implementing and managing infrastructure and services.
- Excellent writing and speaking skills.
