Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, develop, and test products, services, enhancements, and bug fixes for integrated hardware and software systems based on customer requirements
- Address and resolve customer trouble tickets by diagnosing complex issues involving hardware, software, or a combination of both
- Manage software and hardware build-controlled production releases. This includes overseeing main and update releases, service packages, maintenance updates, and customer-specific engineering designs.
- Define and document hardware and software evolutions. This involves creating and releasing relevant documentation, managing change control processes, and notifying suppliers and customers of updates
- Maintain adherence to quality standards and participate in process and tools evolution and improvements
- Retain technical and design knowledge for assigned products and technologies and provide training to lower support teams
Qualifications and Skills
Qualification: Degree or equivalent
Skills:
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues involving hardware, software, or a combination of both.
- Capable of planning technical requirements from customer needs and providing effective solutions or recommending corrective actions
- Maintain adherence to quality standards and participate in the evolution and improvement of processes and tools.
- Involvement in the Software Care process, particularly in handling emergency cases to ensure rapid problem resolution
- Document hardware/software evolutions, manage change control, and notify suppliers and customers.
