Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy features or services, focusing on scalable, reusable, and efficient code.
- Break down complex work items into smaller, manageable tasks and provide accurate estimates for delivery.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI), taking on-call responsibilities to monitor systems and address incidents such as downtime, performance degradation, or service interruptions.
- Collaborate across teams to debug, optimize, and maintain reliable software in production environments.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to enhance the reliability, observability, performance, and scalability of Microsoft’s products and services.
- Drive best practices in monitoring, operations, and deployment at scale.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualification: BE/BTECH (CS/CE/IT), ME/Mtech (CS/CE/IT), MCA/MSc IT
Skills:
- Proven coding proficiency in one or more languages, including but not limited to C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check clearance upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and system design.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across teams.
